Broccoli Salad


Description

  • This Broccoli Salad is a delicious side dish for just about any occasion.  And it’s so good, you may just want to hoard it all for yourself and not share!

Ingredients

5-6 cups broccoli florets (about a pound)

1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

2/3 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup crumbled bacon

1/2 cup salted sunflower seeds

1/3 cup finely diced red onion

3/4 cup mayo

1/4 cup sour cream

1 1/2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar

3 Tbsp. sugar

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper


Instructions

  1. Combine the broccoli, cheese, cranberries, bacon, sunflower seeds, and onion in a large bowl and set aside. (Cover and refrigerate if not eating right away.)
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients in a smaller bowl to make a dressing and whisk well to combine. (Cover and refrigerate if not eating right away.)
  3. When ready to serve, pour the dressing over the ingredients in the large bowl and toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
