Description
Because bread is a great part of any meal and because it is so quick and easy, this flatbread will become a staple at your house.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 packages yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons)
- 2 cups hot tap water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cups flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, adding more flour if the dough is sticky (maybe up to 3 cups)
- Let the dough sit for 15-30 minutes while you work on the rest of dinner.
- Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and then roll the dough out in the pan. You could also just pat it out with your hands.
- Bake for about 7 minutes.
